Get to know the finalists in the #MyKindaScary contest

Did you submit your scariest financial story to the #MyKindaScary contest? Are you ready to help others learn from your experiences by sharing your story online?

The LowestRates.ca team selected 10 finalists who are all eligible to win the grand prize. Each finalist was sent a direct email after their story was added to the blog, and followers can share one or more of the stories on social media.

The story that receives the most votes will win the MyKindaScary contest – though each vote must have the hashtag #MyKindaScary included in the share to count toward the contest. Each of the finalists can improve their chances by sharing their own story on social media, and encouraging friends, family, or followers to do the same.

Likes and shares will count as valid votes until 11:59pm EST on October 29. Once the votes are tallied, LowestRates.ca will contact the winner, and arrange that he or she will receive the prize on October 31. This Halloween can be the end of your scary financial experiences, but only if you get involved and share your story.
